Zoomina34
The old broken starter i took out had one shim that was about a quarter inch thick. The new starter came with two shims, both as thin as paper almost. Which ones do i use?
5speedz34
I would say use the old shims, since you know that that will work.

gp90se
Id say no shims at first, see if it scratches and disingauges, dont wanna use more then u need because the teeth on the flywheel wont like ya for long
slick
Werd. When I did the starter on the GP, I used no shims at first. It sounded like crap, so I used the shim provided. Sounded a ton better, but still could use a little more help, so my dad made another one for me that was .010 thickness. Made a ton of a difference.
