Being the impulsive buyer that I am, I picked one up.

Is this a good brand??? hehe, perhaps I should've asked before buying but it ended today, and $35 ain't a bad deal, and I always wanted one of thse :-D

Oh well, as long as it works, I'm happy

I figured, for $35, who cares? :)

Better not wait till Friday, this price is for TODAY ONLY.

As for +25mm offset... I've found Mustang wheels are the only ones that are close. Never tried any personally, but many people use that bolt pattern (5x114.3mm) on W-bodies and it fits fine.

well i finally rolled into this place a few minutes ago and hit the link...says it is no longer available at buy.com.

This is the review of it. Not so hot, apparently. It's about the 7th one down

Yeah, I saw someone mention that on another forum. However, someone else countered saying that site is very biased because they get a lot of their funding from one of the radar detector companies (I have no idea which one).

Could be. The top rated ones on their site are Beltronics. Hmmmm

Do you know anybody who actually tests and writes reviews of these things? 9 out of 10 sites have the same marketing bs for a review.. :bs:

Um, I've been trying to use mine, and like...

ALL IT DOES IS FLASH "LASER" AT ME ALL !@#$:cuss:ing day

Apparently everywhere I go there's a laser beam aimed directly at my radar detector. It doesn't give up, no matter where I go, it's "bleeeeeeeep" .."Laser" .."bleep bleeep"

until I get to my driveway, or the parking lot at work.

Am I to assume that everyone's playing laser tag with my car?

Grr...

Worst Product Ever.

I have a Whistler. It does the same thing.

Apparently bright enough sunlight sets it off. Judging by what I read, this is a common problem with lower-end radar detectors.
