Guest Anonymous
I saw this Cutty while out doing x-mas shopping. I think it's pretty sharp.
Guest
AHA! so that's what it looks like with Pontiac wheels. Not fond of the all silver wheels, gold would be cool with that color charcoal. I am considering either gold for my black cutty (gold emblems and pinstriping) or having the centers of the wheels painted black.
BlueCutSupreme
fucking ew....gold wheels, gold emblems...nasty on any color car, talkin about makin somethin ghetto, looks like u went to pep boys and got some emblems. Another pet peeve of mine is that tacky chrome fender trim and door molding, why????
eclipse5302
I had those Pontiac wheels on my Cutlass once. It looked pretty mean. I had to repaint the middle of them grey (like my lower trim) because gold looked pretty bad with white/grey. They stuck out pretty far on that car, made it look and handle awesome. Of course, they were nothing comapred to the "pie" International wheels I have now. Jason
Guest
I know that a lot of GOLD looks tacky on a car (with the exception of mine seeing that is the color of the entire car ), but I did see the other day a Cutlass Supreme Sedan that was DARK GREEN and had gold ROCKETS on the trunk aqnd front, and SCRIPT on the trunk and sides, and it actually looked good. Very subtle. Taylor
luminator94
Well, my Cutty is a dark metallic green with gold pinstriping. No badges on the doors, but Cutlass Supreme SL is on the trunk lid and that's in silver. I've had my Cutty for a few weeks now, and I've gotten ALOT of compliments on it, more then I ever did on my Lumina. Aaron
BlueCutSupreme
gold pinstriping is a lot different than gaudy gold emblems, u don't really notice pinstriping quite as much, or at least i don't
lolumz34
I wonder what people are thinking when they see some one driving by slowly taking pictures of cars. Me personally...if I saw someone doing that to my car...I would be reporting there plates...just in case.
ismellrealbad
this is the conclusion ive come to: Gold rims suck, BUT, on a black painted car, on crosslace wheels, with the outer rim polished i think they look pretty phat. i think any other rim design or body color looks ugly with gold. again, that outer polished rim looks really good and i think makes or breaks it. if the entire rim was gold, i think it'd look like shit. an example of TERRIBLE gold rims is that small newer subaru, theres like 8 differnt cars called the "outback" with them so i dont know how else to describe it. if youve seen it you know what i mean, and it looks terrible I wonder what people are thinking when they see some one driving by slowly taking pictures of cars. Me personally...if I saw someone doing that to my car...I would be reporting there plates...just in case. I would be both suspicious in both a positive and negative way. i wouldnt go so far as to take their plates down, but im sure a "wtf?" would come into my head. heh now that ive joined this board and i saw another w-body doing that i wouldnt even be surprised
