White93z34 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 ok everyone always complains about their rotors warping and the such i'm intrested to know about how often you go through pads/rotors so far for me i'm pulling at least 24,000 on the front pads/rotors (they have been on since i bought the car) rear about 13,000 on the pass side, 4,000 on the drivers side (damn stuck calliper eating pads) Quote
midnight rider Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 fix your caliper....lol Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I think I've got about 40,000km (since I had the car) on the 88. My mechanic (who fixed/safetied the car for the previous owner before I bought it) said he just put on the cheap pads and rotors too. The last year or so the rotors pulsate but not too bad.. Calipers on the other hand.. changed the rear and they are sticky again. The brakes on my 95 kick ass!!! Quote
slick Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I personally don't think there all that bad. I've had to come to sudden stops on several occasions, and I was able to stop on and instance. Quote

I've had to come to sudden stops on several occasions, and I was able to stop on and instance. The ones on my 88 have lasted a long time, but they do SUCK. I'm sure I could put someone's face into the windshield with my 95 if I wanted too.. Quote
dsgrntld187 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 10 days or 50 miles, whichever comes first . My moms lasted quite a while, I don't remember how long exactly, but her car had 198k on it and brakes done maybe once or twice? Quote
99RegalGS Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I have 31,000 miles on the pads and rotors on my Regal. No problems yet. Quote
midnight rider Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 every 15,000 is a good idea on the pads. The rotors will last 30,000 as long as you have them turned to remove the groves. Wsith brakes, you can never be too safe. Quote
