Guest Gp crazy Posted September 11, 2004 Report Share Posted September 11, 2004 well it's a GP with a crappie 3 speed tranny 125-c it has reverse unless i step on the gas! then a clunck most of the time but lately no clunck. fluid is clean and the filter is new. also long shift points step on gas i get to 40-45 that's first shift 70-75 that's 2nd shift? engine is screaming at these points. any help would be good thanks (: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In that order EDIT: I'd also throw a bottle of Trans-X or Lucas Tranny Fix in there, just to see what happens. Can't hurt anything. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WhiteOut Posted September 12, 2004 Report Share Posted September 12, 2004 If your 1-2 shift is iffy (clunky and sloppy) too then you've probably got a fried band in the transmission, and that means rebuild.
