THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 I'm pretty sure my right side front needs replacing.. anyways I came across this link which might be an interesting read for some of you.. http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/jk/040428.htm My mechanic said (and I agree cause it makes sense to me) that the right side is bad cause the humming noise goes away when I turn right (weight shifts to the left).. makes sense right? He said there is no play (right now) but should obviously be replaced soon. Now, should I get new one (are there different qualities?) or get one from the junkyard? My 88 I believe still might have original bearings, so I don't think that mileage would really be an issue, but that can be checked on the car at the j/y. Lastly, my car has ABS, would I have to get one exclusively 94-96 (I know of a 94 at the junkyard) or does the year really matter as long as it has ABS?? I already searched the forum BTW, just asking additional questions.. Quote
