skiiirt
Ok. So I have been having a problem with my EGR. I replaced it, replaced the gaskets, cleaned the valve and yet my car continually stalls, and gives me an error 32. I have reset the computer by pulling the fuse. It still has problems. When the car starts sometimes the idle sits at around 1200RPM untill I shift into either R or D. As soon as the SES light appears the car begins to chug a little and the throttle is all over the place. What I mean is acceleration will be shitty and when I step on it (to makeup for the shitty acceleration) the RPMs jump from about 2500 to almost redline. Pretty much a waste of a gear and definately waste of gas. The GM dealership said to disconnect the battery terminal for 10-15 mins. I dont know if this is the same as pulling the fuse or not. Can anyone help me? Also it seems I have a rheostat ghost. The lights on my dash (the climate control, tape deck) flicker occasionaly. It'll be bright (slider is at max) and then it'll be ultra low. Could it be the terminal connection on the battery? Thanks in advance
topless94style
Try the battery thing, could be a vac leak in the intake manifold gasket. What is code 32?
skiiirt
just replaced the intake gaskets, the 32 says Faulty EGR valve-to-ECM connection Plugged EGR passages and/or sticking EGR valve Defective EGR valve Defective ECM as per w-body site. Couldnt be a vacuum leak, just spent $1200 at the dealership making sure everything was running right. like i said before. replaced almost everything electrical in the car. ICM, ECM, EGR, Starter chasnged so many gaskets i dont even want to list em...
