alright this really hasen't bothered me till recently, but anymore my high beam switch seems to be really cranky, as in i have to pull it WAY back before it will click and the high beams will go on/off

and i cannot turn my key backwards to turn on the radio, any ideas why and how to fix it?

on the steering colum you'll find the switch for the high beams, and the rod for it, sometimes these parts ware in a little, so you'll have to adjust the switch closer to the steering wheel itself. This may also be the case with the actual ignition switch (not talkin' about the key part, but the actual rod linkage further down the colum)

adjusting those parts should solve your problems, I had to do the same thing on my '88 Buick Regal before I sold it.

the dim/bright switch on my STE completely went out and I swapped the one over from my 92. First time doing that, so it took a little longer, but wasnt too bad. Hopefully its just adjusting it like Dave said. Pulling the two top column bolts and dropping it down, makes the job much easier, even if you are just adjusting it
