Crimson Fury Z Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 based upon that, i went to the yard to get a complete airbox, and went looking under hoods for the appropriate tube to run from the headlight space to the snorkle. found the tube from a turbo daytona, and got it all together. look here, page 2 of the site; http://www.cardomain.com/id/crimson_fury_z34 Quote
dsgrntld187 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Looks good, have you noticed any improvement though? Quote
Crimson Fury Z Posted September 12, 2004 Author Report Posted September 12, 2004 haven't tried it out yet, the tube goes to the airbox. it meets @ the snorkle on the aribox and what not. i got some screen to put in the tube so large debris wont get in. Quote

kfahn Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 why will it die if it is still being filtered by the airbox? Quote
gp90se Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 ah my bad, i though he ran the hose right 2 the TB, i dont think a tube will help much vs guttin the airbox Quote
kfahn Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 it'll get a little higher airflow than the stock box, and it'll get fresher air than getting it from in the engine bay Quote
Crimson Fury Z Posted September 12, 2004 Author Report Posted September 12, 2004 theres no way i'd be that crazy to run a "straight pipe" to the tb! this will get tested tuesday Quote
