Black5spdZ Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Does anyone have the centerforce dual friction clutch in their car???? Or any other "performance" clutch Quote
Aaron Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Yah I do, but I didn't really notice a difference with it. Plus I replaced it when i did the motor, so any differences there were coulda been that. Quote
Black5spdZ Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 how is the pedal feel i put one in my friends t/a and it has a lot of holding power Quote
Black5spdZ Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 Another quick question aaron what was your 60ft time at the track???? Quote
skalor Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Black5spdZ, do you have any idea how much the centerforce clutch is?? I would get a SPEC clutch as that's what I plan on getting for my TGP that has a 284 in it. Plus, they are much more reasonably priced than the centerforce. Quote
Aaron Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Yah it wasn't cheap. Yah it was expensive. REALLY expensive. But the 3.4 lieks eating clutches, so I think it will save me time in the long run. Pedal feel is great, it works like a good clutch should, I have no complaints. I was pulling off 2.3s both when I ran my 14.7 at near sea level and my 15.2 at 7000ft. So not great, but the car couldn't do any better. Quote
Black5spdZ Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 i went to the track friday and with a 2.7 60ft because i didnt want to dump the clutch because i have already broken two axles my car ran 15.4 at 91mph Quote
