THe_DeTAiL3R Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I would try to talk him down to about 2200 USD or lower maybe. Unless everything else is in PERFECT condition, that's all it's worth, in my opinion. I'd talk him down to $2200 or less CANADIAN $$$ !!! Don't care if its a GTP or whatever, its still an old car with problems. I paid less than that for mine and its newer, bottem line. What I would do is show him $1750 CASH and see if he takes it... As far as drivetrain/exterior condition, thats hard to say. My 2.8 has a terrible rust problem, but the 2.8 is a bulletproof engine even if you don't take care of it. The 3.4 on the other hand, NEEDS to be well maintained and its its not even running right (surging at idle) I would be very cautious.. Quote
jeremy Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 that is WAY too much money for the GTP, even if it were perfect ............ Quote
wally05 Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 After hearing everyone elses advice, I'd have to say that I agree with Jeremy. I paid (as of today) $1500 for mine, and it's in EXCELLENT condition. Bring that price down a lot. Give him an offer, then list what is wrong with it. Korey Quote
