Bruticus
I installed a CAI for a friend on his 93 Grand Prix SE and it runs alot better then it did be4 when he had the OEM airbox on. Just one problem the SES light now comes on since the plug to the airbox isnt plug in is that a problem since its unpluged now ?
EurosportZ34
Well plug it into the tube or airbox or whatever...lol. And no, it won't cause any problems just the annoying light.
THe_DeTAiL3R
Drill a small hole in the CAI tube and put the IAT (idle air temperature sensor) back in it. You could also put it closer to the front of the car like in the headlight area or something (if you don't want to drill the CAI) so that it sucks in cold air. I wouldn't just drop it around the engine, cause it will measure the HOT air and thats not good..
