fierofanatic
I need any and all pictures of 1st gen 88-96 Grand Prix's with molded in Hood scoops. I saw one that had these duals that were gonna be made by one of the 2nd gen companies, but it just floated off into nothing for some reason, then I saw another with the firebird dragon nose molded into the hood, which looked sweet. Anyone else? I picked up a spare hood to fool around with.
fierofanatic
Hello? Anybody out there.........................???
5speedz34
That's a TGP, and I think the GTP's are the same but maybe smaller vents? I don't remeber.
digitaloutsider
GTP's got the same louvers as the TGP until 1994 when the body changed slightly.
THe_DeTAiL3R
I think he's actually talking about hood SCOOPS, which look GAY IMO.. My black crosslace look 100x better than that black TGP..
fierofanatic
Just trying to get ideas, its hard visualizing something like this on a car like this, but I think it can be done... I think I'll do a custom 2-2.5" cowl induction scoop, or use the same height but with ram air...... My spare hood is near ready, just stripped all the paint off it today on the top, just have the underside to do, then need to tap some dents out, then I'll use blue board insulation for a base and fiberglass mat. I think it'll be better looking if the car has those tinted covers on it, which I wish I could find a cheap pair, autozone wanted almost $50 for them. Canada
Did black cross laces come factory on TGPs?
THe_DeTAiL3R
Did black cross laces come factory on TGPs? I don't think they did. On that car in the pic the center cap is black too, and it looks almost flat black..
mfewtrail
Did black cross laces come factory on TGPs? They only came with gold colored wheels(there are two different variations of the gold color, one is lighter then the other). EDIT: That picture of the TGP sucks, I bet the wheels actually look decent....got any better shots of that car Tony? Also, who does that TGP belong to and is that another one beside it or just another black GP?
EurosportZ34
Hood scoops? When did any W come with hood scoops? The louvers (or extractors as GM calls them) came stock on the TGP, pre97 GTP, and the Lumina Z34. They are not "molded" on by any means, they are actually funtional and the drain pans (or baffels) can be removed for even more functionality. For the pics you requested, check out http://www.cardomain.com and search for those cars, that'd pry be your best bet.
5speedz34
I got those pics off of a guy on ebay who was selling the intake and scrapping the car. IDK if he still has the car but he wanted a shit load for it. The pics are huge so I think they came out bad cuz the forum is making them smaller..... Here is the link to my photobucket. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/5speedz34/DSCN0365.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/5speedz34/DSCN0364.jpg
