Guest Anonymous Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 well ive noticed that the two spoilers i have, both 92's, are very different. the one on the petty is aluminum i think, has a lip, is made of several pieces bolted together, and is not as wide. on the 95 GT, I put a white spoiler from a 92 GP coupe on. Its much wider than the petty's, is all one piece, is made of a much lighter material, and bolts up differently. were different spoilers made for different GP's? here is the petty's: I had to cange the contrast to see the trim line due to sun glare, and the 92 spoiler i put on my 95: Just curious as to why they are diifferent if they are from the same year car. Dirty Rockstar Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 The one on your 95 may be an aftermarket one.. Does it have a 3rd brakelight in it? If not, then its probably aftermarket sincee its off a 92.. Or someone got it from a newer one, and put it on the 92 you pulled it off of.. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 it had the same brake light as the petty but i took it off. Quote
PeNZ Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 For some reason my spoiler bolts are rusty as hell?? I have no Idea why and the spoiler is loose, I have to take it off and get new bolts. I have the third brake light also how hard was it to take the spoiler off? Sorry for hijacking thread, oh yea and my 95 is wide and one peice, made of plastic. Dunno if that helps ya. Quote
