gtp34
Strange as this might sound but this did happen to me.. I decided to go to my car to listen to some tunes on my lunch break. Got in the car turned the key forward to roll the windows down but I turned to far and the starter started to engage. I immediately turned back because didn't want the car to start(obviously). Well, something didn't sound right went it started to try and start so I figured I would try and fire it up. It won't run now... All it does is fire up rev to 3k then die. It will run barely if you keep your foot in the gas. I don't unsterstand how doin that could screw up whatever thats wrong, but it did. Anyone have any ideas before it gets towed to the dealer? BTW. Car is my 95 Grand Prix GTP 3.4 DOHC

sonyman87
Finally got the car checked out. Brake booster check vavle busted. i was just about to say you had some vacume line or intake tube leak after the MAP sensor. a very larg intake leak will cause the car to act exactly as you described
