dsgrntld187 Posted August 27, 2004 Report Share Posted August 27, 2004 Ok, My friend has a 1998 Grand Prix GT sedan, dark green, and he's having a problem with the key getting stuck in the ignition and not coming out. sl3196 Posted August 27, 2004 Report Share Posted August 27, 2004 Happened to my sister's gtp. You can get the key out if you reach under the steering column and press the silonoid (sp?) by the keyhole. Just feel the bottom of the sterring column under the keyhole for a little bolt. The button you hit is right on the other side of it. Go to http://www.clubgp.com to find out exactly how to fix it. I think you have to replace the whole silinoid.
