Ok, My friend has a 1998 Grand Prix GT sedan, dark green, and he's having a problem with the key getting stuck in the ignition and not coming out. Whats the problem there? I dunno fi he'll end up here, but I told him to come here. Later

He should try some graphite in the ignition it may help, or he may need to replace it. You can get the new ignition keyed to match the original.

Happened to my sister's gtp. You can get the key out if you reach under the steering column and press the silonoid (sp?) by the keyhole. Just feel the bottom of the sterring column under the keyhole for a little bolt. The button you hit is right on the other side of it. Go to http://www.clubgp.com to find out exactly how to fix it. I think you have to replace the whole silinoid.
