SuperBuick
As I was pumping gas 2 days ago I had some guy come up to me, raving about my car wanting to know what it was. I told him it was a Lumina Z34, and he asks "is it new this year?" At first I thought it was funny but he actually seemed like he knew about cars and just hadn't seen one before. Its nice to hear things like that because it indicates that our cars, though some almost 15 years old, still look good and can hold up their heads in newer company, which cannot be said for many early 90s cars. He thought the car was fantastic, and it made me fell good about the time and work I put into it. (though oddly, my Buick, which is 10x nicer, barely recieves a second look when I go out with it.....odd) Anybody else have anything like this happen to them where people wondered about their car and thought it was fantastic? I'd love to hear. -Tom
GnatGoSplat
Not for the past 5-years, but 5-years ago, almost every time I went to a gas station or parked at a public place, someone would come tell me how nice my Cutlass was.
