99RegalGS
Today I got new spark plug wires and when I got back I pulled all my old ones off marking where they came off. Then I noticed that the way ther were on were different than the service manual had. So I put them on the way the service manual had. Turned the key and got nothing. So I put the the way they were and it started right up. This is how they were: 23 54 16 This is how the service manual says: 14 63 25 :? And it still is missing/surging under load. :x So it's not the plugs, wires, injectors, or the fuel filter. No engine codes either. So I'm going to try the coils next and then the have the ICM tested. I hope I get it fixed soon. This is starting to get annoying...
89oldscutlass
If its not a Coil then it might be the ignition module. 14 63 25 are for the 2.8 and 3.1 as well as the 3.4 but on 96 and up 3.4s its 52 36
Vegeta
His service manual was wrong, it said the front 3 plugs were 1 3 5...so thats the problem. The coil order is the same for all 60V6 DIS setups, even 96+. Its just how the coils are mounted in a different location:P

99RegalGS
I was gone yesterday and I don't feel like being out in the heat and the humidity today. So I haven't done it yet. I want to do it tomorrow.
