gmrulz4u Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Well most of you have probably read that since I had my Cutlass' interior and engine professionally cleaned last Wednesday, I have been having an overnight battery drain problem. I got up this morning to the same thing, a 3 volt battery reading and a no-start, and that was my last straw. Anyways, to make a long story short, it ended-up being the module for the "Passive Restraint" system. It is located on the passenger side just below the fuse box. It's a little black, rectangular box. It was ALL wet!! So when they cleaned the inside of the car, they must have soaked the carpeting so much that it seeped through or something? The module was shorted and was drawing 1.42 amps at all times. After disconnecting it, my draw is only 0.05 amps. Just keeping you all up-to-date! Quote
White93z34 Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 awesome glad its working again, clean that module out with some rubing alkey and let it dry, should be good as new Quote
