rudefyet Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 ok...my car sat for a few days and today when i started it and drove it in town it was misfiring like crazy besides the chance of bad gas, spark plugs, and plug wires....is there anything else i should be aware of? Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 coils? icm? run some dry gas and see what happens. that stuff worked wonders for me when i had bad gas Quote

rudefyet Posted August 28, 2004 Author Report Posted August 28, 2004 finally went out and checked...one of my wires was almost chopped in half  Quote
rudefyet Posted August 29, 2004 Author Report Posted August 29, 2004 ok heres the story so you can really laugh! one of my wires came out of the little thing that holds them in a bundle...no clue how...but one day I started the car and it was bouncing off the radiator fan... I "thouroughly" examined it checking to make sure it was unharmed and put it back into place... well today in plain site i move the wires around a bit and noticed a huge chunk missing from one of the wires and the actual wire it's self was frayed out...the same wire that was hitting the fan....god i'm a moron to miss that it was barely connected and apparently the movement of the engine was enough to break the wire completely...i wondered why it would miss sometimes when i floored it it's all good now though Quote
