PeNZ Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 Are all the mini quad head lights sealed enclosures, bulb h-4531? At autozone the have a composite one listed which has the 9005&9006 bulbs listed. I have the h-4531 bulbs, and I was wondering if anyone has 9005&6 headlights cause I would like if possible swap to the 9005&6 enclosure to put some plasma glow lights in my car. Thanks. EDIT: See below for pics Quote
supreme_style21 Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 The mini-quads are sealed, yes. You really couldn't easily switch to the composite headlights w/o replacing the front clip and some other fun stuff. Just swap the bulbs.. you can get the bulbs out of the sealed unit and install the 05 / 06 bulbs and seal 'em back up. Quote
PeNZ Posted August 22, 2004 Author Report Posted August 22, 2004 How do they come out? Ive tried pulling and turning, do I need to pry with a screw driver? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 arent there screws or something? I beleive its kinda complex, i dont know, ive only had a miniquad car for a month and the headlights have brown recluses living in them so I dont go in there much! Quote
supreme_style21 Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 No its sealed in there. I don't wanna tell you to do the wrong thing.. one of the guys that have done it will chime in . Quote

PeNZ Posted August 23, 2004 Author Report Posted August 23, 2004 You can tell they are blue lights in this pic, low beams that is. Quote
PeNZ Posted August 23, 2004 Author Report Posted August 23, 2004 TY, I have to order the high beams and fogs next to match it all up. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 That looks f'n awsome! I would just match the fogs... highbeams aren't really for looks anyways. Quote
PeNZ Posted August 23, 2004 Author Report Posted August 23, 2004 Yea your probably right, I dont hardly ever use the brights anyways. Oh and one thing I noticed is that when the brights are on the lows stay on, which is cool, but the fogs turn off??? Quote
BurneroftheRice Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 should complement them with Angel eye fog lights or some Blazerteck fogs Quote
White93z34 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 ....and the headlights have brown recluses living in them... you have larger problems then engines boy!  Quote

sl3196 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Damn I miss my quad headlights! The new ones just aren't as bright. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Damn I miss my quad headlights! The new ones just aren't as bright. Holy crap, your GTP headlights aren't even as good as miniquads? The miniquads are the worst headlights I've ever seen!!! Quote
LukeZ34 Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 should complement them with Angel eye fog lights or some Blazerteck fogs Yea, definately go with some Blazertech 3200's (fogs) if you want the bluish/white color. Their a BIG improvement over the stock lights. Quote
