DiscoStudd Posted August 22, 2004 Report Share Posted August 22, 2004 I remember watching "Trucks" on Spike TV, and they were spicing up a new Silverado. Anyways, he put on a new overlay and what he did was remove the plastic lens, switch on the ignition and mark the locations of the needles (on another piece of paper depicting the dash cluster.) Remove the cluster from the car. He had a tool to remove the pointers, but he said you could use a plastic fork if you didn't have the tool. After you finish doing what you have to do to the cluster, put it back in and switch on the ignition. Leave it on and press the needles back in place right where you marked them...
