Voltage problems, grounds....

Just recently i replaced 2 of the grounds in my engine bay. So, on a cold start, my guage will read about 15 or so, which is alright. As she warms up, it will drop maybe to 14, and thats cool. But, the wierd thing is that when i come to a light or stop sign, the guage will drop down to like 12 or so. It had never done this before. So, i turned down my stereo, and the guage came back up to about 13.5-ish, which seemed more normal.

Another thing. At times when im just cruising down the highway, at say 70mph, the guage's needle will bounce a bit. Not a humongous amount, say like 1 volt, but it bounces some, which just seems weird.

Also, where is the block to body ground strap located at?

And, the alt. is pretty new too.

block to body is built into the negative battery cable and attaches to the core support right in front of the battery.

I had the same trouble. I cleaned up all of the grounds and even added new one in addition. But it still does this.

I remember reading somewhere that the 94 cutlass always had troubles with low voltage. I dont know if itapplys to all the w bodys though.
