EurosportZ34
LOL...my car just had similar problems like your experiencing. Mine turned out to be the transmission range switch, what ever the fuck that is. I guess it tells the car it's in park so then it can start or something like that they tell me. Just something to keep in mind in case you bring it somewhere to get fixed. It pisses you off though doesn't it how it starts sometimes and others not. Goodluck man!!! DiscoStudd
Seeing as you said it had no spark, it could be the Crankshaft Postion Sensor, or the Ignition Control Module...
tloftus
I just had the EXACT symptoms in my Cutlass. It was the CPS. Cheap ($20 for the 3.1) easy to change (15 minutes). However I wasted $80 and 3 hours on a ICM first, only to find out that wasn't the problem. Oh well she purrs like a kitten now. Eurosport: The park / neutral switch tells the car when it's in park or neutral -- if this it the problem the car should not turn over at all. It won't do anything. Like trying to start your car when it's in drive. This is not his problem as he says it cranks, but no spark. Tom
