94CutlassSLCoupe Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 What's the factory 0-60 and 1/4 mile time for a 3100 cutlass supreme (94-97 model years)??? Quote
jeremy Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 about 2 weeks. good call, my quickest time was 13 days, 22hours and 57 minutes @ 2.6mph....... btw, welcome to the board.... Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 lol....i don't think that i need to reiterate that the 3100 SFI is faster than the 3.1 MPFI seriously, i think the 0-60 was like 8.5 seconds...but i'd like to know for sure Quote
sl3196 Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 My cutlass was like 11 seconds to get to 60. That was timed with a cell phone. Quote
john99gtp Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 for 1/4 miles, im guessing better than 17.4 seconds thats how long it took my 3.1MPFI to run the 1/4 miles, at a whooping 76mph John Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 I beleive the 3100 is good for high 16s-low 17s, and 0-60 mid 9ish 0-60 (not 100% sure on that one though). My 2.8 pulls 0-60 in 11.5 seconds, so if you have a 3100 that is doing 11 something is seriously wrong with it!! Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted August 19, 2004 Author Report Posted August 19, 2004 anyone have the real #'s?? Quote
excelsior Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 back in 95 or 97 C&D ran a 3100 monte to 8.7 0-60 and 16.7 1/4 mile @ around 80-81 mph.....hope that helps....on a side note....thats not THAT bad of times. Quote
94CutlassSLCoupe Posted August 20, 2004 Author Report Posted August 20, 2004 That wouldn't be bad at all...IF we could actually get some performace parts i could start taking out 3800 series II cars lol Quote
93CutlassSupreme Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 IF we could actually get some performace parts what are those? Quote
slick Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 If you were to pull a 16.5 you better be happy. Quote
THe_DeTAiL3R Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 Grand Ams with 3100s have pulled low-mid 15s with minor mods.. w-bodys weight a bit more but 16.5 is definatly within reach.. If you wanna know 1/4 mile time go to the track. Every car is different so the magazines will vary slightly. Quote
