conley3.1 Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 I found a couple plugs behind the engine on my car that aren't plugged in... Here are a couple pictures I've taken. This one is located behind the intake plenum, it looks like an 02 sensor plug. It comes off the wiring harness right behind the plenum as well. The second plug, here: is located near the metal hose that goes to the exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine. It goes to a sensor or something on the side of the block, but what plugs into it and what does it do? I hope someone has the answers. Thanks in advance. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 The 1st one looks like the one for the coolant sensor in the corner of the rear head. The 2nd one I'm not sure of. Quote
Robby1870 Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 na...injector plugs have different attachments Quote
conley3.1 Posted August 17, 2004 Author Report Posted August 17, 2004 I don't think 92 3.1s (sorry forgot to mention it's a 92 Lumina 3.1) had the 7th injector, and also the injector plugs are sorta squarish. The first plug shown has the same kind of pigtail connector as the o2 sensor, though. Quote
