TimW Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 I recently found my fan motor melted to the fan housing. I've hunted down a new fan motor and a new fan and put them in. Now my fan will not kick on. I have the 160TG chip and have waited until the engine was over 220 degrees and still no fan. Has anyone walked down this path before? I have heard there is a thing called a burn out wire (for protection kind of like a circuit breaker) and I have read there is a fan relay switch somewhere. Is there a fuse that could have blown? Any help will be appreciated. Tim W Quote
