There is really no immediate danger but my mechanic told that the one on my car was from a junkyard and I think it might not last that long. Speckkial Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 The volt gauge reads right in the middle. I figured that's good enough as long as it's not in the red. But my car does have problems starting up after sitting idle for a while. Could that be signs of a need for a new battery?
