You bought this complete? it looks like it’s got a few of performance parts on it!! intercooler, fuel rails, northstar with an lq4 TB who knows what else!! If it’s just a wiring issue, find a 98-99 Monte Carlo z34 or lumina LTZ woth a 3.8, get the engine harness off it. With a few minor changes to the c100 firewall plug and 2 wires run inside for the obd2 port, and a PCM tune it’ll run no problem!

People do say the Walbros have a tendency to whine loudly. I've also seen recommendations for the TRE340 fuel pump, roughly the same price as a Walbro 255 and quieter. From what I've seen in the Impala service manual, the fuel tank pressure sensor is just for EVAP controls. I have removed it already, and the replacement seal that came with the new pump was indeed junk! Will definitely get an OEM one next time.
